Bernardo Duarte is an experienced data science professional with a strong background in mathematics and applications. Currently serving as Lead Data Science at Altice Labs since June 2020, Bernardo has progressed through roles as Data Scientist and Junior Data Scientist. Previous experience includes a position as Data Scientist at WINPROVIT and Junior Data Scientist at Inova-Ria in collaboration with Altice Labs. Bernardo's research experience at the Centro de Investigação e Desenvolvimento em Matemática e Aplicações involved studying properties and applications of Zernike Polynomials and implementing findings in MATLAB. Bernardo holds a Master's degree in Mathematics and Applications with a focus on Statistics and Optimization, as well as a Licentiate degree in Mathematics from Universidade de Aveiro. Additional involvement includes serving as an ambassador for the campus and contributing to academic services at the same institution.
