Jarrett Bliton, PhD, has a diverse work experience in both scientific research and technical services. Jarrett began their career as a Technical Services Analyst at Epic in July 2014, where they provided technical support and assistance. After three years, they transitioned to the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at UNC/NCSU in July 2017, where they pursued their doctoral degree as a Doctoral Student until November 2022. Following this, Jarrett worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering | UNC & NC State from November 2022 to June 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Scientific Specialist I at Altis Biosystems, starting from May 2023 onwards.

Jarrett Bliton, PhD completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University in the years 2009 to 2014. Jarrett then pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, spanning from 2017 to 2022.
