Currently serving as the Director of Machine Learning at Amazon since April 2017, Ron has previously held key leadership roles, including VP Engineering at Imgur.com and Walmart.com, where responsibilities encompassed search and customer personalization. Ron also contributed significantly to OneRiot as VP Engineering, delivering innovative real-time search products. As CEO and Founder of Morphlix.com, Ron spearheaded the startup's development in video on demand. Additional experience includes senior engineering roles at Bea Systems, Infotropia, and Critical Point, as well as founding Vocal Point, Inc. Ron holds a PhD in Computational and Neural Systems from Caltech and dual degrees in Electrical Engineering and Math and German from the University of Colorado Boulder.
