Matt Kellam is an accomplished intellectual property attorney currently serving as Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at Amcor since September 2022. Prior to this, Matt held the position of Assistant General Counsel and Global Director of Intellectual Property at Nouryon, where responsibilities included overseeing global IP litigation and US non-IP litigation. Matt has extensive experience as Director of IP Americas at AkzoNobel, managing a team to maximize the value of patent portfolios and advising on patent strategy and agreements. Additionally, Matt served as Global Lead IP Counsel for Surface Chemistry, overseeing patent portfolio management globally. Earlier in the career, Matt worked as a partner at Olson & Cepuritis, specializing in complex patent litigation and counseling, and as an attorney at Jones Day, focusing on patent litigation and prosecution. Matt began the career as a Molecular Biology Researcher at Hines VA Hospital. Matt earned a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame and a JD from Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
