Scott Verbest

Scott Verbest is a seasoned executive compensation professional with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as the Executive Compensation Manager at Ameren Corporation since July 2004. In this role, Scott manages executive compensation programs, including incentive plans and performance management, and leads preparations for board meetings. Prior to this position, Scott was a Senior Compensation & Performance Specialist at Ameren, managing broad-based compensation programs. Scott has held leadership roles in the Compensation & Benefits Network of Greater St. Louis, including Past President and President. Previous experience includes senior compensation positions at Chevron Texaco and Texaco, where Scott developed innovative compensation strategies and improved HR processes for thousands of employees. Scott holds multiple BS degrees in Management from the University of New Orleans, Louisiana State University, and the University of Illinois Chicago.
