Currently serving as the Director of Operations Systems and Decision Support at American Airlines since July 2003, Sunny leads teams that provide planning, analytics, and decision support for multiple business units. Previous roles include Senior Manager in Operations Research & Advanced Analytics and Senior Manager in Operations Research, focusing on applications of advanced analytics for Air Operations and decision support systems for airline network scheduling. Additionally, Sunny held the position of Principal in Operations Research, concentrating on revenue management research and development. Involved with AGIFORS as Chair of the Revenue Management Study Group from January 2004 to May 2019, Sunny holds both a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Operations Research from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
