Prior to this role, Emily held the position of Vice President of Government Relations at National Grid, managing the Washington, DC office and advocating for company interests in Congress and with federal agencies. Emily's experience includes directing federal policy initiatives at the Solar Energy Industries Association and providing legal support in energy and regulatory matters at law firms such as Winston & Strawn LLP. Emily holds a JD from Duke University School of Law and a BA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
