Luke Strange

Luke Strange is a seasoned professional in government relations and foreign policy, currently serving as a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations since June 2020, and as Managing Director of Government Relations at the American Enterprise Institute since August 2013. In this role, Luke advises leadership on key relationships with policymakers, leads a team to amplify AEI scholars' work, and develops strategies for donor engagement. Formerly, Luke held various positions, including Senior Advisor to U.S. Senator Ben Sasse, and Senior Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives. Luke possesses a Master of Arts in Global Security Studies from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Rhodes College, complemented by studies at the University of Cape Town.
