Koray Caglayan

Koray Caglayan is a Senior Economist at the American Institutes for Research since July 2020 and serves as an Adjunct Professorial Lecturer at the School of Public Affairs, American University since August 2021, teaching economics-related courses. Caglayan has held roles as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and as a Lecturer at the UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability. Previous experience includes co-founding Artizen, a fashion boutique featured in Vogue India, and serving as a Director at SC Footwear, where Caglayan managed production and marketing processes. Caglayan began a career in product management at Ipek Kagit and has a robust academic background with a PhD in Economics from Tulane University.
