Gary O'Keefe

Gary O'Keefe is an experienced audio engineer with a diverse background in both live and studio settings. Currently serving as an Audio Engineer at American Public Media Group since September 2021, Gary has also worked as a Freelance Audio Engineer since 2009, providing a wide range of audio services from recording to mixing. Previous roles include A1 and Livestream Engineer at TED Conferences, where responsibilities included mixing live events and multi-track recording, and Audio Engineer/Sound Designer positions at Industrial Color and The Bindery, working with high-profile clients. Gary has significant experience in supporting musical and theatrical productions at The Juilliard School and managing audio operations as Head of Production at Union Hall. With a BFA in Music and Audio Technology from The City College of New York, Gary has built a strong career in audio engineering, collaborating with renowned artists and organizations.
