Cathy Wright

Cathy Wright, PCC, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership consulting, teaching, and public affairs. As President of New Ground Consulting Group, Inc. since December 2003, Cathy has guided numerous organizations, including the American Business Women’s Association and UNIFI, in strategic planning and employee engagement. In addition to her role at New Ground, Cathy has served as an Adjunct Faculty member at American University and Averett University, focusing on leadership development and business communication. Cathy has also made significant contributions as a Consultant/Project Lead at Overland Resource Group, where impactful labor-management collaboration was achieved for the Federal Aviation Administration. Previous roles include Regional Public Affairs Manager at Miller Brewing Company and Public Relations & Employee Communications Manager at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Cathy holds an MBA from Averett University and a Certificate of Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University.
