Philip Richards

Philip Richards is an experienced director in the field of Executive Compensation, currently serving at American Express Global Business Travel since July 2021. As part of the team that transitioned the company to a public entity in May 2022, Philip established the necessary infrastructure and led the Executive Compensation function. Previously, Philip worked at Aetna, a CVS Health Company, from May 2005 to June 2021, where roles included Executive Compensation Consultant, Business Project Program Manager, and Senior Instructional Technologist, focusing on long-term incentive programs, HR technology implementations, and compliance training. Earlier in his career, Philip held the position of Team Leader at RWD Technologies, leading e-Learning projects for Fortune 500 clients. Philip holds a Master of Science in Instructional Technology from Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from the University of Connecticut.
