Autri Basu

Autri Basu is an undergraduate student at Amherst College, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics, expected to graduate in 2027. Autri has gained practical experience as a Risk Modeling Intern at Santander US since June 2025. Concurrently, Autri serves as an Economics Teaching Assistant and Grader, facilitating evening help sessions for advanced microeconomics students and grading assignments for two economics courses. Autri has also contributed as a Mathematics Grader for Linear Algebra and as a Quantitative Research Assistant at the Follette Education Lab, where skills in Python and R were applied to analyze a large dataset and enhance data processing efficiency. Additionally, Autri has experience in theater production and event assistance, having worked with Amherst's Department of Theater and Dance as well as the Department of Alumni and Development. Autri graduated Cum Laude from The Lawrenceville School in 2023.
