Steven Tuske PhD is an experienced professional in the biochemistry and biotechnology fields, currently serving as Associate Director and Principal Investigator at Amicus Therapeutics since October 2016. In this role, Steven leads gene therapy efforts focused on transgene design and engineering. Prior to this position, Steven worked as a Research Associate at The Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine at Rutgers University from December 2008 to October 2016, conducting biochemistry and structural studies of HIV-1 reverse transcriptase and bacterial RNA polymerases. Steven's early career included a role as Senior Scientist at ExSAR Corporation from November 2005 to December 2008. Steven earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biotechnology from William Paterson University of New Jersey.
