Amsted Rail
Matthew Cook has a diverse work experience spanning over several positions and companies. Matthew began their career at American Steel Foundries as a Staff Accountant in 1994. After a few years, they joined Griffin Wheel Company as a Plant Controller. In 2006, Matthew transitioned to Burgess-Norton Mfg. Co., where they served as a Director of Global Operations before being promoted to Vice President. In 2013, they became the President of Diamond Chain Company. Following their tenure there, Matthew took on the role of Vice President at Means Industries, Inc. before finally joining Amsted Rail in 2017. At Amsted Rail, they first served as Vice President of Finance Business Development before being appointed as the Chief Operating Officer.
Matthew Cook earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Depaul University in 1999. In 2000 to 2001, they attended the University of Dayton, where they also pursued an MBA. In 2009, they completed the Executive program in Business Administration, Management, and Operations at the University of Chicago.
