Henk Smit is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in consulting and healthcare. Currently serving as Senior Partner and Head of Benelux Consulting at Wipro Limited since March 2020, Henk leads the consulting practice in the Benelux region and is a member of the Global Consulting Group leadership team. Henk's previous roles include Senior Partner and Head of Digital Consulting for Continental Europe at Wipro, Partner at KPMG, and Partner at Accenture, among others. Henk also holds board memberships at Hikos, Better Future Factory, and Amsterdam UMC's Team Alzheimer, contributing to innovative healthcare solutions and social ventures. Alzheimer Centrum Amsterdam is part of the Amsterdam University Medical Center and is physically located at the VUmc location on De Boelelaan. More than 100 employees work at the center. Every year they treat thousands of patients from all over the country. In addition to caring for patients, a large proportion of the employees are involved in conducting ant the implementation of research. Alzheimer Centrum Amsterdam is the diagnosis and treatment center for dementia, with a focus on dementia at a young age. Our mission is to make dementia negotiable, treatable and eventually heal.
