Wayne Boyd has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the engineering and construction industry. Wayne started their career in 1983 at Duke Energy as an Industrial Power Engineer & Marketing Manager, where they worked for almost 9 years. In 1992, they joined Sonoco as a Senior Project Engineer, and they stayed there for 7 years. Since 1999, Wayne has been working at Amteck, LLC, where they currently hold the position of Vice President of Engineering. In this role, they are responsible for managing the preconstruction services and overseeing all of the company's design work for construction projects nationwide.
Wayne Boyd attended the University of Kentucky from 1978 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Additionally, they completed a certification as an Energy Manager and also pursued a course in Green Building Engineering, although the specific years and the degree obtained for these programs are not provided.

Lastly but most importantly, we believe that a strong Safety Culture is the driving force behind the quality and timeliness of our work. Our full-time Safety staff is constantly conducting training on the latest safety issues in the industry to our employees as well as applicable certifications such as 30 hours OSHA, 10 hours OSHA, Bloodborne Pathogen, CPR and First Aid.
