Paolo Masci has a diverse work experience spanning various scientific and research roles. Paolo is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Analytical Mechanics Associates. Prior to this, they held positions such as Principal Engineer and Senior Research Scientist at the National Institute of Aerospace. Paolo has also worked as a Senior Researcher at HASLab | INESC TEC and as an External Consultant at MHRA. In addition, they served as a Visiting Researcher at FDA and held a Full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant role at Queen Mary, University of London, where they made notable contributions to the field of formal methods technologies for modeling and analysis of user interfaces in medical systems. Paolo has also been actively involved in public engagement and training sessions for regulatory officials, software developers, doctors, and nurses. Paolo Masci holds a PhD in Computer Science and has prior research experience at the University of Pisa and ISTI-CNR.

Paolo Masci obtained a PhD in Information Engineering from Università di Pisa, from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed an Engineer (MSc + BSc) degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution, spanning from 1995 to 2003.
