Andersen
Leo Martinez serves as Managing Director at Andersen since October 2020. Previously, Martinez held various academic positions, including Visiting Professor of Law at the University of Lisbon and the University of Turin in 2019, and at Cornell University School of Law in 2013. An established figure in legal education, Martinez was the Albert Abramson Professor of Law at the University of California College of the Law San Francisco from 1985 to 2019, with expertise in Federal Income Tax, Insurance Law, and Contracts, and co-authored the 9th edition of the West Publishing text on Insurance Law in 2021. Additional roles have included Acting Chancellor and Dean at the University of California College of the Law and a Visiting Professor at institutions such as Leiden University and Nihon University. Martinez holds a JD from the University of California, College of the Law, an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California, and a BS in Engineering Physics from The University of Kansas.
