Juan Carlos Serna is an experienced executive in the fields of clinical affairs and regulatory strategy, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Scientific and Clinical Affairs at AngioDynamics since August 2017. In this role, Juan Carlos is responsible for the global management of clinical and healthcare economics strategies for a diverse product portfolio, achieving significant milestones such as Breakthrough designation and various regulatory approvals. Prior to AngioDynamics, Juan Carlos co-founded Right Submission, a SaaS platform for regulatory submissions, which was later acquired by Emergo by UL. Additionally, Juan Carlos served as President of Health Policy Associates Inc. for over fifteen years, where expertise in biotechnology encompassed clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance across various therapeutic areas. Juan Carlos holds a BA in Biology and Philosophy from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
