Grama Bhashyam

Grama Bhashyam is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the field since 1977. Currently serving as an ANSYS Fellow and Chief Technologist for the Mechanical Business Unit at Ansys, Bhashyam has been with the company since August 1995 and has held various leadership roles, including Director and Corporate Fellow, focusing on increasing research and development and fostering innovative teamwork. Previously, Bhashyam was a Senior Development Engineer at Hibbitt, Karlsson and Sorensen Inc., where involvement in the development of ABAQUS took place from August 1983 to July 1995. Earlier experience includes a role as a Scientist at National Aerospace Laboratories, concentrating on aerospace launch vehicle research and advancements in Finite Element Analysis from July 1977 to June 1980. Bhashyam holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Arizona and an M. Tech in Aeronautics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
