Boudewijn Docter is a seasoned professional in photonics with extensive experience in advisory, technology, and business roles. Currently serving as a Business & Technology Advisor at Docter Photonics Services BV since August 2011, Boudewijn has also taken on advisory positions at ANTENNEX, MicroAlign, and T-Soles. Previously, Boudewijn held the role of Chief Growth Officer at HighTechXL, focusing on venture building and startup acceleration. As the Founder and former CTO of EFFECT Photonics, significant advancements in Indium-Phosphide based Photonic Integrated Circuits were achieved. Boudewijn's academic background includes a PhD and extensive research experience at Eindhoven University of Technology and a PhD internship at NTT Photonics Laboratories in Japan. A strong foundation in electrical engineering was established at the University of Twente.
