Bernard Lazare

Bernard Lazare has worked in a variety of roles in the IT and cyber defense fields since 1997. Bernard'swork experience began with the United States Air Force, where they held roles such as Cyber Defense Operations Chief, Senior Operations Manager, Operations Manager, Communications Project Manager, Communications Control Manager, IT Services Supervisor, Executive Operations Planner, Corporate Communications Coordinator, Enterprise Administrator, and Help Desk Manager. Bernard also worked as a Helicopter Mechanic. In 2020, they joined Aperio Global, LLC as a Cyber Defense Operations specialist and VMware as a Corporate Fellow.

Bernard Lazare obtained a Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance degree from the Community College of the Air Force. Bernard also holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² obtained in August 2020, a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information Security Clearance from the United States Department of Defense obtained in March 2016, a VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2020 certification from VMware obtained in October 2020, a CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA obtained in September 2013, and a VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage (v6.7) certification from VMware.
