Matthew Annis has a wealth of work experience, beginning with a role as a Campus Coordinator for Democracy Matters in 2008. Matthew then worked as a Legislative Intern and Special Assistant to the President for United University Professions in 2010, followed by a Budget Analyst position for the New York City Mayor's Office of Management and Budget in 2011. In 2012, they were a Team Leader and Budget Examiner for the New York State Division of the Budget. From 2016 to 2018, they were an Independent Consultant and then a Finance Analyst for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services. Since 2019, they have been a Budget Analyst for Champlain College, and is currently the Finance and Operations Manager for Apollo Neuro.
Matthew Annis completed their education with a Master of Public Administration from University at Albany, SUNY in 2011, specializing in Financial Management. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science from SUNY Oneonta in 2009, with a double major in Psychology and Political Science. Matthew also obtained an Associate of Science from Daniel Webster College in 2007, with a focus on Aviation Operations. Their educational journey began at Guilderland High School.
