Cheng-Ya Sha

Cheng-ya Sha currently serves as a Staff Machine Learning Scientist at Appier, since August 2015, focusing on enhancing resource efficiency for the CrossX ads bidding platform through the development of models that optimize request throttling. Prior to this role, Cheng-ya was a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Appier, where contributions included being a founding member of AIXON, a SaaS product for intelligent data augmentation, and building predictive models for marketing analysis and user analytics tools. Before joining Appier, Cheng-ya worked at Quanta Computer Inc. as an engineer in the SoC Design Center, developing algorithms for Image Signal Processors. Additionally, experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at National Taiwan University for courses in Computer Science and Operating Systems. Cheng-ya holds a Master of Science in Communication Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, both from National Taiwan University.
