Heather Mewes is Head of Licensing for the IP Law, Licensing & Litigation Groups at Apple. Heather has over 20 years of experience in the legal field. Heather began their career as a law clerk to Judge William C. Bryson at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit from August 2000 to July 2001. Heather then became a patent litigation partner at Fenwick and West from September 2001 to June 2012. During their time at Fenwick and West, they also served as a patent litigation associate from September 1999 to August 2000.
Heather Mewes has a JD from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, a BSFS from Georgetown University in Science & Technology in International Affairs, and a Certificat from Sciences Po Strasbourg in International Relations. Heather also has a certification from Coursera in Business and Financial Modeling Specialization.
