Royce Cheng-Yue is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently working in the Special Projects Group at Apple since June 2019. Prior to Apple, Royce Cheng-Yue held key engineering roles at drive.ai, contributing to the development of object detection perception pipelines and frameworks for regression testing. Royce Cheng-Yue also served as an intern and research assistant at Stanford University, and gained significant experience at Twitter as a Software Engineer II, where major projects included backend infrastructure for metadata services and innovative updates to the mobile Trends experience. Other notable positions include co-founding LittleHut, involvement in research at UC Berkeley, and internships at Facebook. Royce Cheng-Yue holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley and is currently pursuing an M.S. in Computer Science at Stanford University.
