Mehdi Mortazavi

Mehdi Mortazavi is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Applied Materials since November 2020, with prior experience at ASML and Lam Research specializing in semiconductors, thermo-fluid systems, and design. Mehdi's engineering career includes research on turbomachinery and gas turbine cooling at Ohio State University's Aerospace Research Center, and studies on absorption chillers and heat exchangers during a Ph.D. program at the University of Florida. Additionally, teaching experience at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee focused on surface treatment techniques and microfabrication processes. Mehdi holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and a Master's Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
