Nate Wells has extensive experience in global communications, currently serving as Vice President of Global Communications at Applied Underwriters since March 2009, where responsibilities include overseeing advertising, marketing, design, and public relations on a worldwide scale. Previously, Nate held the position of Director of Brand Communications, directing all brand communications efforts. Earlier career experience includes freelance work at Nate Productions (2007-2009) and serving as Art Director for both Interactive and Traditional media at Maiden Lane from February 2005 to July 2007, focusing on innovative and conceptual ideas across various mediums. Nate also worked as a consultant at Allison PR from 2002 to 2006. Skills include proficiency in CS3.

Applied’s story starts with workers’ compensation insurance. We took a difficult, heavily regulated line of insurance, made it our singular focus, and made it better. We did this by first learning its intricacies and the very real human risk it addresses. We then used that insight to help our customers better manage their risk.
