Jennifer Pelayo

Jennifer Pelayo, MSHRM, PHR, serves as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Athens Services since November 2023, overseeing HR operations, compliance, and organizational change initiatives. Previously, Jennifer spent nearly two decades at Smart & Final, culminating in the role of Human Resources Director, where leadership extended to multiple distribution centers and thousands of employees, as well as various HR managerial positions. Additional experience includes consulting as Head of Human Resources for Enhance Health Group, LLC, focused on developing HR departments for start-up companies. Jennifer holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management from California State University, Los Angeles.
