John Maksym

John Maksym is a Roman Catholic Priest and Canon Lawyer serving the Archdiocese of Detroit since May 2018. A retired Commander from the U.S. Navy, Maksym has extensive experience as an appellate and trial judge, including roles such as Circuit Military Judge in the Western Pacific Judicial Circuit and Senior Judge at the U.S. Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals. Prior to these judicial positions, Maksym held various roles within the Navy's legal framework, including Deputy Chief Trial Judge and Staff Judge Advocate.
