Nick Gillian is the Founder and Head of AI & SW at Archetype AI, where Nick focuses on developing AI techniques. Previously, Nick worked as a Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Google, leading a team in extracting context from real-time sensors. Before that, Nick was the Director and Lead Scientist at Hyperplane Ltd, specializing in gesture recognition. With a background in Postdoctoral Research in Machine Learning from MIT and a Ph.D. in Gesture Recognition from Queen's University Belfast, Nick has a strong foundation in the field.
