Tatjana Prohazka is an experienced Data Engineer currently employed at Arenko Group since June 2021, where contributions include the design and implementation of a real-time data compaction and hot data archival system that achieved a 7% AWS cost saving, as well as a Pyspark script for data backfill from Cassandra to TimescaleDB. Prior to this role, Tatjana served as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator at the Ministry of Justice UK from June 2019 to May 2021, ensuring seamless operation of live systems. Tatjana's career also includes significant experience at CONTEXTworld (2013-2019) in database migration and automation, as well as various roles at BITE Latvija and ALSO Group. Tatjana holds an Engineer's degree in Simulation and Imitation in IT from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte and a 2nd level ESOL qualification from West Thames College.
