Michelle Kleman is an experienced human resources professional with a diverse background spanning various industries. Currently serving as the Human Resources Officer at Livermore Area Recreation and Park District since June 2022 and as Human Resources Manager at Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation since November 2020, Michelle demonstrates expertise in employee relations and HR management. Previous roles include Career Coach and Facilitator at Lee Hecht Harrison, where Michelle provides transition consulting and workshops, and Employee Resource Manager at GE Power & Water, recognized for effective management during downsizing efforts. With a solid foundation in HR from positions at LTD Global, St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Northern Kentucky University, F+W Publications, and Starcom, Michelle holds a MA in Labor Relations and Human Resources from Michigan State University and a BS in Organizational Leadership from Purdue University.

Headquartered in Walnut Creek, California, the nonprofit receives no government funding and is an accredited four-star charity for eleven consecutive years.
