Akram A.

Akram A. is an experienced embedded systems engineer currently employed at Argonne National Laboratory since May 2022. Prior to this role, Akram served as a postdoctoral research associate and graduate research assistant at the Illinois Institute of Technology, focusing on sustainability in buildings and building automation systems. Akram's extensive experience includes designing and developing automatic control systems, open-source data logging platforms, and custom hardware solutions in various positions at companies such as Rise Gardens, AmeriCloud Solutions, and the National Association of REALTORS®. Akram holds a Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering and has previously worked as a site engineer and graphic designer, demonstrating a diverse skill set in engineering and design.
