Flavio A. Castro is an experienced software and network engineer with a robust background in research and development, automation, and DevOps. Currently serving as a Research Development Software Engineer at Argonne National Laboratory, Flavio has successfully refactored SciStream's Control Server implementation and transitioned communication protocols from ZeroMQ to gRPC. Previous roles include Senior Network Automation Engineer at Johnson & Johnson, where Flavio enhanced software quality through CI/CD pipelines, and various positions at Hudson River Trading, Cargill, and PayPal, all focused on network automation.
