Neelam Sunariwal

Neelam Sunariwal is a materials chemist currently pursuing a PhD in Physical Chemistry at the University of Illinois Chicago, with research focusing on energy storage and conversion technologies. Experience includes a role as a Visiting Graduate Student at Argonne National Laboratory, where Neelam studied the effects of cathode density on performance in aqueous batteries. Neelam also interned at Tesla, developing new cathode materials for Li and Na-ion batteries and conducting degradation analysis. Previous positions include a Junior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Science, among other research and teaching roles in various institutions. Notably, Neelam's proposal writing skills facilitated awarded beamtime at several national laboratories.
