Nicholas Marks

Nicholas Marks is a skilled Control System Engineer currently employed at Argonne National Laboratory since July 2023. Prior to this role, Nicholas served as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Applied Thin Films, Inc. from May 2021 to September 2022 and held multiple engineering positions within the Northwestern University Space Technology and Rocketry Society, including Chief Engineer for the NUSTARS Rocket Team and Launch Vehicle Lead for the NASA Student Launch Team. Nicholas has experience as an X-Ray Optics Researcher at CIERA, focusing on adaptive optics technology for telescope mirrors. Education was initiated at Marist High School in Chicago, graduating in 2018.
