Feng Hong

Feng HONG, Ph.D., currently serves as a Principal Engineer at Arm, leading CPU project implementation since February 2020, focusing on enhancing power efficiency through advanced CPU microarchitecture decisions. Prior experience includes roles as Principal IC Design Consultant at EnSilica and as Implementation Lead for NB-IoT IP Chip at Arm, where Feng achieved notable successes in tape-outs and various design processes. Prior to that, experience as a Senior Engineer at Qualcomm Cambridge involved comprehensive chip implementation activities, and earlier roles at CSR focused on similar chip design tasks. Academic experience includes tutoring at the University of Glasgow in CMOS analogue circuit design, complemented by degrees in CMOS analogue circuit design (Ph.D.) from the University of Glasgow, Signal Processing and Communications (Master) from The University of Edinburgh, and Telecommunication (Bachelor) from Xidian University.
