Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED)
Christina De Paris currently serves as the Associate Multimedia Coordinator and Communications Officer at ACLED since November 2022. As Co-founder and Executive Director of 8th & Atlas Publishing, Christina leads a small team through the publication cycle of print and digital books, conducts industry research, monitors sales and marketing performance, and manages financial and stakeholder relations. Previous experience includes roles as an Academic Editor at MDPI and Cactus Communications, as well as a Translator and Editor for UNV Online. Additionally, Christina has served as a Research Assistant at the University of Gothenburg, a Communications Specialist in a freelance capacity, and a Childhood Literacy Promoter with the Peace Corps. Christina holds an M.S. in Global Studies from the University of Gothenburg and a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Central Florida.

The Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED) is a disaggregated data collection, analysis, and crisis mapping project. ACLED is the highest quality and most widely used real-time data source on political violence and protest around the world.
