Arts Midwest
David Fraher is an accomplished arts leader with extensive experience in various roles within the arts sector. As the Founder and Principal Investigator of CuriousExplorer, LLC since December 2019, David has focused on innovative research and exploration in the arts. Previously, David served as President and CEO, followed by President Emeritus at Arts Midwest since December 1983. From July 1977 to December 1983, David was the Executive Director of the Wyoming Council on the Arts, where a range of leadership positions were held over six-plus years. Additionally, David acted as a Consultant for the Western States Arts Foundation, contributing to the establishment of The Western States Book Awards, aimed at enhancing literary publishing in the West. David holds a BA in American Literature and Comparative Arts from SUNY Brockport and furthered education at Ohio University.
