Brendan O'Fallon

Brendan O'Fallon is an accomplished bioinformatics professional with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as Bioinformatics Director at ARUP Laboratories since September 2016, Brendan has held multiple roles including Senior Bioinformatics Scientist and NGS Informatics Supervisor. Additionally, Brendan has been a Senior Bioinformatician at 23andMe since September 2015 and previously managed Clinical Informatics and Integration at ARUP Laboratories. Brendan's earlier work as a Senior Fellow at the University of Washington involved designing algorithms to analyze genetic sequence data. Brendan earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Grinnell College.
