Catherine Avendaño

Catherine Avendaño currently serves as the Head of Employee Communications & Experience at Asana, where leadership involves inspiring and engaging global employees while overseeing internal communications, employee experience, diversity, inclusion, and events. Previously, Catherine held the role of VP of People at Neighborly, establishing core HR functions for the company. At MuleSoft, Catherine advanced internal communications and designed onboarding programs, contributing to employee engagement across a globally diverse workforce. Experience includes positions at Fuze, Readyforce, Small Schools for Equity 501(c)(3), and Samahang Pilipino Advancing Community Empowerment, along with a solid educational background, including a Master of Arts from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA.
