Since September 2006, Shafi has served as both Director and Chairman at Asia Telecom Holdings Ltd. Prior to this role, Shafi was a Director at Asia Telecom Ltd from September 1997 to May 2019, where responsibilities included overall management and business development focused on business plans and sales strategies. Additionally, Shafi held the position of Chairman at The Society of Hong Kong External Telecommunication Services Providers Ltd. during two tenures from December 2001 to November 2003 and December 2005 to November 2007. Shafi holds a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Xavier's College, earned between 1969 and 1973.
