Fatimah Abdullah

Founder, Block Party at ASIFA-South

With more than 15 years of experience in animation and global branding,

Fatimah has served as a community activist, mentor and as president of the

International Association of Animated Film-South (ASIFA-South). At Primal

Screen, she works with leading kids entertainment brands like Sesame Street, PBS Kids, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, to bring engaging stories to

young audiences. Prior to joining Primal Screen, the Georgia State grad

spearheaded production at an immersive content studio producing linear, VFX and enterprise level projects for Fortune 500 companies including Delta, IHG, CSE and CNN. Abdullah also has an extensive background in co-branding projects, having worked with award-winning agencies to produce integrated content for industry leaders like HBO, AMC, Bravo, USA and NBCU.

ASIFA-South is the official Animation Organization representing South Eastern US officially with UNESCO affiliated ASIFA International Animated Film Association. Headquartered in Atlanta, our nonprofit organization represent the central communication hub between international and US-based chapters. Our goal is to foster and unite the animation community locally and globally to promote artists and the art of animation through communication and collaboration.
