Cell Line Development Co-op at Asimov

Cassey Kuga is a dedicated professional with experience in community building, research, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as a Community Builder at the Social Justice Resource Center and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Woods Lab at Northeastern University, Cassey formulates media for various cell lines and investigates mitochondrial roles in ovarian function. As Vice President of External Affairs for the Latin American Student Organization, Cassey develops partnerships and oversees collaborative events. Additional roles include Operations Assistant at the Center for Intercultural Engagement, Lead for the Buddy Program at the First Generation Low-Income Student Union, and Social Media Manager for LASO. Cassey's co-op experience at Obsidian Therapeutics involved supporting experiment design and the generation of patient-derived cancer cell lines. Cassey is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Northeastern University, with an expected graduation in May 2025.
