Mark S. Buncher

Mark S. Buncher, Ph.D., P.E. currently serves as the Director of Engineering at the Asphalt Institute, a position held since May 1998. Prior to this role, Mark Buncher served as an Active Duty Civil Engineering Officer in the United States Air Force from January 1983 to August 1998, with a focus on airfield pavements during multiple assignments. Mark Buncher holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Auburn University, a Master of Engineering from The University of New Mexico, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
