Aspire Academy
Al-Hay leads all educational programs at Aspire Academy. Prior to his appointment as Director of Education and Student Affairs, Badr served as the first principal of the Academy with an outstanding track record and proven commitment to excellence.
In his role as Director of Education and Student Affairs, Badr Al-Hay oversees all academic, life skills and social development programs of the Aspire Academy student-athletes.
Prior to joining Aspire, Al-Hay enjoyed a distinguished career in the education sector and was a deputy principal with the Qatari Ministry of Education. He began his career as a school teacher. His performance and commitment to development of young sport talent was recognized with honours by the deputy Minister of Education, Qatar.
Al-Hay received his B.A. in Geography and Planning from Qatar University.

Aspire Academy was founded in 2004 with the goal to find and develop the best young male Qatari athletes, whilst also providing them with high quality secondary school education. Since the population in Qatar is small the identification of talents at an early age is important and therefore we cooperate with schools and sports federations; we also have Multi-sport Skills Development Centers across Qatar to promote sports and prepare talented youths before they reach the appropriate age to be considered for the Academy.
