ASSOCIATION TO BENEFIT CHILDREN
Elizabeth Hegarty, LMSW, currently serves as a Child and Family Therapist at the Association to Benefit Children (ABC) since July 2022, after completing a Clinical Social Work Internship at the same organization from September 2021 to May 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Care Coordinator and Care Coordinator Intern at NADAP from September 2020 to August 2021, and as a Lead Kindergarten Teacher at East Harlem Scholars Academy II from August 2018 to June 2020. Elizabeth participated in Teach For America during the same teaching tenure. Additional experiences include internships in sales and marketing at Viacom and Hearst, and a Sales Specialist role at Luxottica. Elizabeth’s academic background includes a Master of Social Work from Hunter College, a Master of Arts in education from Relay Graduate School of Education, and a Bachelor's Degree in Consumer Behavior from NYU Gallatin. Pre-college programs in Fashion Merchandising and Portfolio Development were completed at the Fashion Institute of Technology and University of the Arts London, respectively.
