Terence Gan currently serves as the Executive Director at the Institute of Microelectronics since July 2021 and as a Member of the Advisory Committee for the School of Engineering at Republic Polytechnic since May 2021. Terence is also a Board Member of the Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association (SSIA) since April 2021 and has held various senior positions at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) since August 2000, including SVP of the Semiconductors Division, Regional President for Europe, and Director of Electronics. Earlier in the career, Terence worked as a Research Engineer at IME from January 2002 to August 2003. Terence holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, awarded between 1996 and 2000.
